Photos from last night's Classic Rock Roll of Honour awards have been posted at Wire Image: Arrivals, Press Room.

LED ZEPPELIN guitarist Jimmy Page, who recently fractured a finger causing the postponement of LED ZEPPELIN's first concert in two decades, was presented with the Living Legend Award at the event, which was held at the Landmark Hotel in London, England.

AEROSMITH frontman Steven Tyler paid tribute to the guitarist, who also received video messages from LED ZEPPELIN's Robert Plant and guitar legend Les Paul.

MEAT LOAF's daughter Pearl Aday collected the award for Classic Album ("Bat Out Of Hell") for her father, who cancelled his appearance because of acute laryngitis.

STATUS QUO won the Classic Songwriters title, while HEAVEN AND HELL took Comeback of the Year for the band, and the Metal Guru award went to BLACK SABBATH guitarist Tony Iommi.

PINK FLOYD's Nick Mason took to the stage to honor longtime collaborator Storm Thorgerson, the graphic designer who created the "Dark Side Of The Moon" album cover, with an Outstanding Contribution award.

According to the Press Association Ltd., Classic Rock magazine editor-in-chief Scott Rowley said: "It's been quite a year for rock music.

"From the 20 million attempts to get LED ZEPPELIN tickets to the new album from THE EAGLES going straight in at Number One in the album charts this week, 2007 has proved that fashions can come and go, but rock music continues to move people."

The awards, held in London and voted for by readers of Classic Rock magazine, are now in their third year.
